About Us

In 1998 Joseph built his first website and computers & technology became one of his hobbies!.  Fast forward 25+ years, a few degrees, marriage in 2012, threes kids, traveling the world and an amazing set of employment and volunteer experiences for both of us...  An idea was born!   We want to help others learn to apply data, advanced sciences, demystification of finance, technology, and process improvement techniques to succeed and conquer in any market.

One of our favorite things to do for friends and family is to demystify the jargon spewed by so many people surrounding Analytics, Information Technology, Innovation, & Complex Problem solving.

Our family's decision to start Disrupts Guru in 2017 was to protect a patent application; however, over time we have found it much more rewarding to offer high quality consulting services to businesses in need.  Starting in 2023 we are extending our services from part time to full time projects.  Kelly leads the customer experience side of the house and Joseph guides the technology and data areas.

We are an agile business & as a result we remove all intermediaries from the process which ultimately reduces the cost for our clients + the added benefit of personalized service.  We only take on the work that will provide true value creation for a client and also we prioritize services to those driving an impact in diversity, inclusion, and the environment.
